Practice: Adena Heart and Vascular Institute
Location: Chillicothe, Ohio. Only 45 minutes from Downtown Columbus
Dynamic group of surgeons seeking an experienced Vascular PA to join a busy practice that offers Work/Life Balance and Professional Growth.
Responsibilities include:
- About ___% inpatient care, ___% OR, and ___% clinic
- First Assist in OR
- Provide perioperative care to vascular surgery patients in the ICU, and regular surgical floor settings in close collaboration with the surgeons
- Daily hospital rounds, admission H&Ps, discharges, and consults
- PA’s first-assist in all vascular surgical cases, including those in our hybrid OR
- The Vascular Surgery PA acts as the liaison between the surgeons, consultants, hospital staff, and patients to ensure continuity and the highest quality patient care.
- Seeking team-focused mindset
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Call is shared with physicians. 1:3 weekend and night call responsibility.
- Conduct Elective and Post-op clinics.
- Obtain and perform Patient History and Physical Exams.
- Board Certified Physician Assistant.
- Minimum of two years of vascular surgery is preferred.
